Who?

"Meet the Wind Gatherers.
They are seeking out the wind, trying to catch it in nets and bottles.
They have huge ears; they are windbags and huffer puffers, raspberry blowers and virtuoso farters.
 Huddled together they hum.
On high hills they prepare wind fields and sound farms, places for the wind to play.
They love weather and sudden silences, the whirl of playgrounds and hubbub of crowds.
In a strong wind they open their mouths and let wind play inside them.
These...wind eaters.....sound munchers....story crunchers....noise eating monsters....
They love stories; in fact they have stories coming out of their ears, a constant muttering of fable, fairy and fanciful f**k ups.
They feast on torrid tales and are hungry for more and more, ‘what happens next’, ‘tell me more’.
Greedily they gather up sounds and gobble down stories.
They love songs and hear them everywhere, the songs of tree and pylons, streets and streams, chapels and pubs.
Their carts jingle jangle across hills and down lanes, full of nets and charms and sound recorders, wind chimes at each corner, horns and rattle bags.
Through side streets and bye ways they call out for scraps of old stories and songs, bits of sound to refashion into new symphonies.
They dream of jingle jangle journeys where giant horns float down rivers, of myths of now and then, where the ancient and modern all get mixed up, machines tell stories and songs are written on the wind..."
